'The Seal Catcher' Publication

Abbie is an Illustrator/ Printmaker currently based in Norwich creating art based upon nature and surroundings. Primarily she work in oils and Gouache but also enjoy the processes of all types of printmaking with relief and screen print being her favorite. There are many forms in nature to investigate that inspire her work. From afar a tree may seem like a complex bundle of leaves and texture but look closely and you can see the intricate lines in the bark creating veins in the tree that lead up to the splayed branches holding masses of leaves. Her aim is to simplify these forms she see into shapes and marks, Highlighting the aspects that particularly attract her attention.
